UDIA offers recommendations to address the under-supply of housing in the Port Stephens local government area, including issues related to faster-than-projected population growth, general undersupply across typologies, high prices, lack of transport, environmental issues (flood and bushfire risk, biodiversity and drinking water catchments), heritage, aircraft noise, agricultural land preservation and low market incentives to invest in the local government area (LGA).
