Gavin Melvin

Acting CEO

Gavin is an experienced public and private sector executive with more than two decades leading teams delivering public policy reform, stakeholder and industry engagement in his roles in NSW Ministerial Offices as Chief of Staff and most recently with National’s MP Kevin Anderson working in the Fair Trading, Water and Gaming portfolios.


Anthony Nicolaou

General Manager, Sales & Marketing

Anthony is the General Manager of Sales and Marketing at UDIA NSW. He oversees UDIA NSW’s membership, sponsorship and marketing.


Kylie Prince

General Manager, Operations

Kylie is the General Manager of Operations at UDIA NSW. She oversees the coordination of all events held throughout the year including luncheons, industry briefings, regional events, the annual State Conference and the Annual Awards for Excellence program, judging tour and Gala Dinner.


Elizabeth York

Hunter & Central Coast Manager

Elizabeth is the Regional Manager for our Central Coast and Hunter Chapters at UDIA NSW. Her role involves co-ordinating both the Hunter Chapter Committee and Central Coast Chapter Committee, including identifying local industry issues and developing policy responses, arranging and attending stakeholder meetings, workshops and Hunter Chapter events, and growing regional membership.


Deanna Lane

Director, Media & Communications – National and NSW Urban Development Institute of Australia

Deanna is the Director of Media & Communications for UDIA National and UDIA NSW. Deanna is responsible for the strategy and delivery of all media relations and communications to build UDIA’s media profile and elevate important industry issues to decision makers and influencers. Deanna is Editor of Urban Icon and Developers Update and provides editorial guidance and support for UDIA policy, research and events.


Michael Murrell

Director, Policy & Research

Michael is responsible for engaging with and shaping government planning policy, and drives UDIA NSW policy development including preparing policy papers and submissions to government and other major stakeholders. Michael supports the design and development of research and analysis that underpins policy advocacy and responses to government policy, building and maintaining UDIA’s brand & reputation for evidence-based research and advocacy for the development industry.


Charles Kekovich

Director, Greater Western Sydney

Charles’ recent focus has centred on the areas of building reform and the development of the NSW Building Commissioner’s Residential Apartment Buildings and DPB Act (s). He also worked with several State and Commonwealth Government Departments on several open reviews of retirement living legislation during his time at the Property Council where he was NSW Senior Policy Adviser and later National Policy and Stakeholder Manager.


Nathan Boulous

Southern Regional & Research Manager

Nathan is the Southern Regional & Research Manager at UDIA NSW. He undertakes quantitative analysis to support UDIA’s advocacy and manages joint projects with our valued research partners. He also coordinates our Illawarra-Shoalhaven Chapter, working closely with our regional members and key Government and peak body stakeholders to develop events, workshops, submissions, and research to help grow the industry in the Southern Region.


Kezia Wallace

Corporate Services Manager

Kezia is the Corporate Services Manager at UDIA NSW. She coordinates the Urban Icon and UDIA NSW Awards magazines, and manages the design aspect of UDIA NSW publications. Kezia also assists the General Manager Sales & Marketing with sponsorship administration.


Ella Blundell

Events Manager

Ella is our Events Manager at UDIA NSW. Ella is responsible for the efficient management of all events held throughout the year including luncheons, industry briefings, regional events, the annual State Conference and the Annual Awards for Excellence program, judging tour and Gala Dinner.


Trish Bailey

CFO

Trish is the CFO at UDIA NSW. She looks after all the financial aspects of UDIA and prepares all of UDIA’s monthly financial reports for submission to Council.


Louisa Liu

Accountant

Louisa is the Accountant at UDIA NSW. She assists the Finance Manager to look after all the financial aspects of UDIA.
