The Urban Development Institute of Australia – NSW Division (UDIA) welcomes the opportunity to provide this submission in response to Ryde Assurance Review
The Greater Sydney Commission and UDIA NSW have a very productive relationship and we seek to work together to resolve common issues. UDIA notes the Commission is currently undertaking and Assurance Review in the Ryde LGA and that many of our members are active in Ryde and the Macquarie Park Investigation Area.
UDIA NSW actively represents the industry’s interests so that urban development can be undertaken positively in NSW. We advocate for access to land for development, encourage the creation of a positive regulatory environment and an equitable system of taxation and charges on consumers, all with the aim of creating amazing urban environments.
