UDIA NSW acknowledges that in a fiscally constrained environment we must look to do more with less.
That is why this submission includes opportunities to reallocate government expenditure to where it
is most needed and where it will have the greatest impact, through improving existing systems, or to
defer forward estimates to catalyse private industry investment, deliver housing earlier and bring
forward the additional associated economic benefits. Where further capital investment is required to
support development that is also highlighted.
Our submission is focused on four key areas where budgetary allocations or re-prioritisation will have
the greatest positive impact for the development industry and society more broadly.
