The Seniors Living and Land Lease Committee promotes the development of specialised
accommodation including land lease, retirement living, aged care and disability living. The Committee focusses on the blend of diverse housing from a development and planning perspective and promotes better built form outcomes, policy and regulatory settings and ultimately understanding of seniors living products to key decision makers within government.

Key Policy Issues
- Continue promoting the role of the seniors living and land lease sector in delivering much needed housing and contributions toward the National Housing Accord.
- Develop advocacy and research in response to upcoming Tranche 2 Statutory Review reforms, specific to the Land Lease Sector.
- Advocate for amendments and improvements to Part 5 of the Housing SEPP, which supports the ongoing planning and development of seniors housing and land lease in NSW.
- Develop education and advocacy documents, aimed at targeting key decision makers within council and government that provide key data, information and policy recommendations required by industry.
