UDIA Submission to IPART on draft ToR for Monitoring of Biodiversity Credits Market

UDIA welcomes IPART’s involvement to monitor and report on the operation of the biodiversity offsets credits market under the Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016. UDIA does not believe the Scheme, including the market, is functioning effectively or efficiently at this time, largely due to its complexity and lack of supply incentives. UDIA poses specific questions and offers to help by sharing examples and  recommendations for consideration.
