Googong North is located on a remote, farm-site 30minutes from Canberra. Its breadth of vision and project scale saw exceptional amenity delivered early. Innovation and sustainablity underpinned the vision which included: $292 Voluntary Planning Agreement; significant road upgrades; $133m recycled-water system; Club Googong’s indoor pool, gym, tenniscourts; community centre; 3xSportsfields, 2xDog parks, 7playgrounds and >10km of paths; conservation areas and environmental restoration. A clever marketing campaign included early off-site events, on-site events that attract 40,000pa, and an integrated community development strategy that achieved 250-350 lot sales pa since 2012 – making it one of the fastest growing developments in the country.
