Julie Bindon and Michael Corcoran awarded UDIA NSW Life Membership

Julie Bindon, the co-founder of Ethos Urban, is one of Australia’s best-known town planners. She has served in leadership positions for several industry organisations and as a lecturer at the University of Sydney and UTS.

Michael Corcoran is the Director of Solido Capital and MC3 Advisory and is former UDIA National President. He has more than 30 years’ experience in property development and contract housing and has worked for Delfin, AV Jennings, Mirvac and Stockland.

UDIA chief executive, Steve Mann said, “Julie has judged the UDIA Awards for Excellence for many years and her company JBA, now Ethos Urban, has contributed significantly to our cause.

“She is the second woman to be awarded life membership of UDIA NSW. Throughout her career, she succeeded to become a highly-regarded leader in a male-dominated industry.

“Michael spent 15 continuous years serving UDIA in various roles, including as NSW President between 2010-12 and as National President from 2015-17.

“UDIA grew enormously under Michael’s leadership and his commentary continues to be well-regarded in the media.

“Congratulations to Julie and Michael for being awarded life membership. We thank them enormously for their service to the industry.”
